BOONE, Iowa---The Boone School Board has been petitioned to hold an election on a bond referendum to pay for a high school renovation project. The proposed project would include an addition to the current facility, demolition of the oldest portion of the current building and extensive remodeling. The bond will be just over $16-million. The School Board set the election date for September 13th, during the regular School Board election.
