BOONE, Iowa---Boone County Conservation Director Andy Hockenson update the Boone County Supervisors Wednesday about work being done along the High Trestle Trail that should help some of the drainage issues that have surfaced this spring and summer. One area east of Madrid had a culvert removed and water has made the trail surface slippery causing several biking accidents. Hockenson says Mallon Excavating is working on the problems. Supervisors want to travel the trail this fall to inspect additional drainage problems.
