BOONE, Iowa---The Boone Municipal Band concluded it's regular Wednesday series of concerts Wednesday evening, the hottest evening of the season. Nine weeks ago, the season started on blustery day with the temperature topping out at 55 degrees. This week, concert goers experienced at 96 degree temperature reading with a heat index of more than 105 and an on going excessive heat warning. The concert concluded the 95th season for the band.
