BOONE, Iowa---For the past week and a half, welcome home ceremonies have been held for the nearly 2,900 members of the Iowa National Guard 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division. One of the first was held in Boone for members of the Headquarters and Headquarters Company. Not all the members returned home at that time, but they will Saturday afternoon. The last of the welcome home ceremonies will be held at the DMACC gymnasium, Saturday afternoon at 3:00 PM. The public is invited to attend.
