BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Board of Supervisors will consider authorizing County Auditor Phil Meier to contact bonding counsel to begin the process of incurring debt to replace the temporary financing for the Central Iowa Expo site. The Supervisors have been making regular payments to cover the cost and now need to consider the longer term debt. The Board has been waiting for the Central Iowa Expo Board to begin providing reimbursement, but recently it's become apparent that will not happen in the near future. Beginning the legal process will not commit the Board to the longer term debt package.
