BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council's Utility Committee has done some review on the needs of Proliant Inc. located in the south side Boone Business Park. Proliant officials recently told the City about plans for growth. Part of the issue is waste water. The city is regulated by the DNR about types of waste water and Proliant's expansion could use up excess capacity. The Utility Committee could meet Monday, prior to the regular Council meeting to review the matter.
