OGDEN, Iowa---The Ogden City Council will look to appoint someone to fill a vacancy created on the Council with the recent passing of long time Council Member Lyle Conklin. City Administrator Donovan Olson says the appointment would be until the next election which is in November. Olson says community members also have the option of petitioning for a special election. Conklin was recognized by the Council for his years of service during their last meeting.
