BOONE, Iowa---Candidates for the upcoming school board elections in Iowa have begun circulating their nominating petitions, and some have already submitted the paperwork and will be appearing on ballots in September. It was a week ago that many began circulating their petitions. For the Boone School District, Dr. Jeff Anderson has already submitted his paperwork. Brad O'neal is also expected to file. Shiloh Burke was elected by write-in last time and has indicated she will not file petitions to be on the ballot. Candidate information for each district is available through the district secretary.
