BOONE, Iowa---Construction projects at the Boone Municipal Airport are moving ahead and the Airport Commission is expected to set the time frame for bids and work to be done on a planned Taxiway Project. The Commission already has new hangar construction underway, which includes an expanded paved apron. All the projects have received substantial amounts of grant funding from both the federal and state governments.
