BOONE, Iowa---The Boone Area Humane Society will kick-off their annual fund raiser, Wednesday evening at the Boone County Fair Grounds. The 29th Annual Rummage and Bake Sale will begin at 6:00 PM and there is an admission charge for the first evening. There will be free admission on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Rummage and Bake Sale is the biggest fund raiser for the Society. The second biggest begins Wednesday, April 28th. Dog Obedience Classes will be held at McHose Park in Boone.
