BOONE, Iowa---Work will begin on narrowing the list of candidates for the job of Boone County Naturalist. The Boone County Conservation Board has budgeted for the position and is now working at filling that job. This week, the Conservation Board designated a small committee to review applications and begin the process of narrowing the field. A small group of finalists will be developed for future interviews. Plans are to fill the position of early summer.
