BOONE, Iowa---A Ballard High School soccer player will apparently make a full recovery. Boone School Superintendent Brad Manard says the incident happened during the Boone-Ballard soccer game Tuesday evening. Manard says he visited with Ballard officials early Wednesday and all indications are the player will recover. The unidentified player was taken to the Boone County Hospital and then flowen to Blank Childrens Hospital in Des Moines. The soccer match was cancelled after the incident.
