BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council and the Boone County Board of Supervisors will hold a joint meeting, Wednesday evening in the Auditorium of the Boone City Hall. The meeting will allow both bodies to work on solving some problems with the Industrial Park on the east side of the city. Most of the area is outside the city limits, but the city is working on the Corporal Snedden Drive overpass. The project will require the city to annex some of the ground to proceed. In the meantime, the Supervisors have been approached about seeking a RISE Grant from the state for work on the roads in the industrial park. Supervisor Bill Lusher says a discussion is needed to determine directions for the future.
