BOONE, Iowa---Bids for the demolition of three downtown buildings will be received by the city on Thursday. Boone City Administrator Luke Nelson said on the KWBG "Tuned In" Program Wednesday, the plan will be to review the bids then make a recommendation to the City Council for their meeting on Monday. Nelson says the specifications for the demolition calls for the work to begin within 30-days and to be completed within 60-days of the acceptance of the bid by the city.
