City Attorney Decision

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council will hold a special meeting Monday evening, to try and complete a review of qualifications from candidates for City Attorney.  Current City Attorney Alan Schroeder has submitted information and Boone County Attorney Jim Robbins has also submitted a proposal.  Robbins has indicated that he will be stepping down as County Attorney later this year.  Two weeks ago, the Council visited with both candidates, but were unable to make a decision.  Boone Mayor John Slight said on KWBG that the Council is elected to make difficult decisions and he expects a decision at the end of the special meeting.
