Traffic Situation Being Reviewed

BOONE, Iowa---Boone City Administrator Luke Nelson says recent accidents that have occurred at South Linn Street and US Highway 30 on the south side of Boone, have led city staff to begin discussing ways to address future concerns.  The connection to US Highway 30 is expected to see increased traffic flow with the new Wal~Mart Store under construction.  Nelson says the Council did have Wal~Mart provide a line of credit for a project to improve traffic flow at that location.  He says staff will begin moving forward on alternatives, even before the new store is opened.
