BOONE, Iowa---The Annual Herman Park Gospel Fest is planned for Saturday and Mother Nature promises to make it memorable by continuing to pour hot and humid weather into the KWBG area. The Gospel Fest brings together a number of artists from five states, performing Saturday afternoon at the Pavilion in Herman Park. Performances will begin at 12:30 PM Saturday. The Gospel Fest was organized by Harold and Betty Holmes six years ago. The public is welcome. The forecast calls for another day of 90-degree temperatures Saturday.
