Warm Weather and Rain Forecast for Hay Expo

BOONE, Iowa---The 2012 Farm Progress Shows Hay Expo will be created by warm temperatures and possibly rain when the gates open Wednesday.  Cooler temperatures will be found on Thursday.  The Hay Expo has been in Central Iowa, but it was several years ago.  This year, Farm Progress Shows Matt Jungman said the show would be held in Boone in an effort to take advantage of the larger site and the ability to attract feeders and others dealing with forage issues.  Several thousand are expected at the show which begins at 9:00 each day and ends at 4:00.  Admission is free, but there is a $10 charge per vehicle.  More information available here.
