Hospital Fiscal Year Ending In Good Condition

BOONE, Iowa---Even though another months worth of financial data will be needed to wrap up the Boone County Hospital's 2012 Fiscal Year, the early numbers are very encouraging.  Through the month of May, the net gain for the year to date is just about $900,000.  That compares to just under $650,000 a year ago.  Hospital CEO Joe Smith says outpatient performance has been the leader all year long, while inpatient has been lagging behind budgeted amounts.
