BOONE, Iowa---Residents that live on the south side of Mamie Eisenhower Avenue will be setting out items on their parking this weekend, for the second week of the Boone City wide clean up. Boone Mayor John Slight says the cleanup has been very beneficial for residents. He says residents will be able to set out items that qualify to be picked up on Sunday so Public Works can put together their plan for pickup on Monday. For those that wish to dispose of appliances, but don't want to pay the fee, there's a plan in place to work with Midwest Appliance Recycling to take items at the Boone City shed on Saturday the 16th. Information on that program is available here.
