BOONE, Iowa---Boone Superintendent Brad Manard says the district is in pretty good shape with staff members for the 2012-13 school year. School will actually begin in just over two months. Manard says positions that were vacant from unexpected resignations have been filled and the board has approved the structure for the music department. Boone had three full-time band instructors but will tackle the next year with two full time and one part time staff member. Manard says Chris Truckenmiller and Dalene O'Brien will work together at the high school and middle school. Rose Kundel will direct elementary band.
