BOONE, Iowa---Boone Police, Sunday, began investigating two cases that involved people using vehicles without the owners consent. One was involved in a hit and run accident, about 1:00 AM Sunday in the 600 Block of Clay Street. The second was reported about 9:30 AM Sunday and included both complaints of using a vehicle without the owners consent and criminal mischief. Boone authorities were unavailable to comment about if the possibility the incidents may be connected.
