Little Additional On Child's Fall

BOONE, Iowa---Boone authorities have not provided any updated information on the fall of a 17-month old child from a second floor apartment window Tuesday morning.  The child was taken to the Boone County Hospital Emergency Room and then flown to a Des Moines Hospital.  There was no update on the child's condition.  Authorities had said the child had climbed onto a couch and pushed against the screen until it popped out.  The unidentified child fell onto the grassy surface below the window and was awake and crying when authorities arrived.  The apartment building is located at 304 Ringgold Street on the west side of Boone.
