AgReliant Rezoning Moves Forward

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Board of Supervisors have approved the first consideration to rezone just over 70-acres in Beaver Township as a site for a seed corn processing facility.  AgReliant Genetics wants to build in Boone County, and would like to start with site work in August.  The Supervisors have two more considerations on rezoning scheduled on July 18th and 25th.  The Boone County Zoning Board of Adjustment is also scheduled to consider a variance on height restrictions on four buildings that would be built on the site.  The Board of Adjustment will consider the variance Thursday afternoon at 5:30.
