BOONE, Iowa---Final activities with the 2012 edition of the Boone County Fair, "Celebrate Good Times", wrapped up Monday with a livestock auction for the those wishing to participate. Others will be taking entries to the Iowa State Fair. Half the 4-H clubs to preparation work for the fair grounds, the other half worked Monday on clean-up. Many 4-H participants, family members and exhibitors will be taking part in a pool party at the Boone Municipal Swimming Pool. Over 50 activities and entries have qualified to participate in the Iowa State Fair in August.
