School Board Votes to Change Student Info System

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone School Board voted to support a staff recommendation and make a change in the Student Information System.  Many parents have been dealing with PowerSchool and beginning in January that will change to Infinite Campus.  Superintendent Brad Manard says work will begin setting up the new system and he thinks parents will like the new system when they begin using it.  Manard says Infinite Campus is used in many other districts and will also help with the digital reporting that is required by the Iowa Department of Education.  The initial first year cost is just under $51,000.  An emergency and everyday phone dialer option will cost an additional $7,600.
