BOONE, Iowa---Emergency responders were called to the scene of a car-train crash shortly before noon on Saturday. 25-year old Clyde A. Joseph of Boone was crossing the Union Pacific Railroad tracks at Key Lane, when his vehicle was hit broadside by an east bound train. Joseph died from his injuries. His vehicle was considered a total loss. The investigation is ongoing and deputies are awaiting the results of an autopsy.
