5th Assessor Candidate Interviewed

BOONE, Iowa---The fifth candidate for Boone County Assessor was interviewed Monday afternoon at the Boone County Courthouse.  Drew Sanders has been the Marion County Assessor for four years.  The Conference Board Interview Committee will select at least two candidates for interviews with the full conference Board in just over a week.  The Conference Board would like to get someone aboard to work with the State Department of Revenue to move ahead with corrections for Boone County valuations.  The biggest matter at the present time is a complete revaluation of the industrial and commercial properties in Boone County by a third party.
