BOONE, Iowa---Following a pretty intense search process the Boone School Board will consider the contract for a new High School Principal Tuesday. Principal Dave Kapfer had informed the Board early of his intentions to retire and the search got underway fairly quickly. A contract will be considered with Dr. Ben Johnson, currently an administrator in the Fort Dodge High School. Johnson would begin his duties on July 1st.
