School District Finances to be Covered Monday

BOONE, Iowa---Boone School District patrons are talking alot about the school districts finances, the high school renovation project and more.  The question is, will they turn out to talk about their concerns to the Boone School Board.  The Board is holding a public forum on financial issues Monday at the Boone Middle School Commons.  School district staff is expected to be in attendance, but will patrons take the time to turn out.  School Superintendent Brad Manard has said there are proposed cuts in staff that "goes against what we do".  The Board has been presented a number of options, but has not finalized any decisions.  Monday's meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
