Committee Agrees to Parking Vouchers

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council's Public Safety and Transportation Committee has agreed to try a proposed parking voucher system.  The proposal was made by the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce on behalf of member motels and hotels.  Officials say that many times business representatives stay in local motels and hotels and conduct business downtown.  The voucher system being proposed would deal with any parking tickets those business representative may receive.
