BOONE, Iowa---In February, the Boone School Board learned that the initial plans for a rejuvenated High School exceeded the available budget by nearly $2-million. The Board directed DLR Group, architects for the project to go back to the drawing board and come back with some alternatives to consider. That will take place at a Board Work Session Wednesday afternoon. Board members need to make decisions on the project fairly soon to stay on schedule for bidding later this summer.
