City Budget Hearing For Boone Monday

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone City Council will give consideration to the proposed 2013 City Budget, following a public hearing Monday.  City Administrator Luke Nelson had said last week that he's pleased the way the budget came together, but remain cautious about what the legislature might do and the impact that will have on the city and it's residents.  Nelson said Boone has made substantial changes in the past couple of years and has been able to maintain services.  If revenue is affected very much, some of those services may change.
