BOONE, Iowa---Kiwanis Clubs and Youth and Shelter Services are just a few of the organizations in bringing the Teen Maze to the Boone County Fairgrounds Community building. 7th grade students from Boone, Greene and Story counties will be visiting the site next week, navigating the maze and addressing life choices. Mary Mix with Youth and Family Counseling in Boone said this week that some 1,200 7th graders went through last year and and estimated 1,500 could go through next week. Parents, school and community leaders are invited to an open house Sunday afternoon to personally see the maze. The open house is from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
