School Board Approves Bond Sale

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone School Board has moved ahead with the second of three planned bond sales that will cover the cost of the district's high school renovation project.  Tuesday the Board approved a $10-million general obligation bond sale.  Last December the Board approved a sale of more than $5-million in Sales Tax Revenue Bonds.  A third sale is expected in 2013.  The proceeds are being used for the district's $21-million high school renovation, demolition and addition.
