BOONE, Iowa---Boone School Superintendent Brad Manard some of the cost cutting moves being considered by the Boone School District "goes against what we do". Manard says the Boone District is once again looking for ways to reduce general fund expenditures. Under consideration will be the elimination of several different positions. Manard stressed to the Board this week that nothing is final at this time, but people need to be aware of the problem. The Board wants the public to take part in an open meeting at the Boone Middle School Commons on Monday, March 26th at 7:00 PM.
