School Board Budget Proposal

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone School Board will be asking for an increase in property tax dollars for the next fiscal year, but the amount will still be less than what was received in the last fiscal year.  Information being considered by the School Board Tuesday evening shows that the tax asking went from $7.9 million to just under $6.9 million to just over $7.1 million.  The Board plans to hold it's public hearing at the April 12th meeting.
