BOONE, Iowa---A 49 year old Boone woman was hospitalized following a motorcycle accident at the Ledges State Park Sunday afternoon shortly before 5:00. A Boone County Deputy is conducting the investigation and reported that Cheryl K. Russell lost control on a hill and gravel and left the roadway. Russell reportedly had arm and head injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Boone County Hospital. The Boone Fire Department, Fire and Rescue, State Park Rangers and Boone County Ambulance assisted the Sheriff Department.
