Conference Board Has Busy Week

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Assessor's Conference Board will be busy this week, first with a committee conducting interviews with potential candidates for the Assessor's job.  Interview will be held Tuesday and will include Paul Overton, Deputy Ames Assessor; Arnie Andreesen, Jones County Assessor; Jill Heimes, Deputy Jones County Assessor and Mitch Friedow, Property Appraiser II for the Ames City Assessor's Office.  Following interviews, the committee will decide if a fifth candidate should be interviewed.  A recommendation on the top two could be made during the Conference Board Meeting on Wednesday.
