School Board Looks to Keep Swimming Pool

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone School Board seems inclined to keep the high school swimming pool and give up  some renovation on the 1955 portion of the building as part of a nearly $21-million high school renovation project.  Initial plans put the cost of the project about $2-million over budget.  DLR Group, architects for the project came back with alternate plans and will seek formal approval at the March 13th School Board meeting.  The Board has considered a number of options to keep the project in budget.
