BOONE, Iowa---Democrats and Republicans will take the next step for this political season Saturday when parties hold county conventions. Boone County Democrats will be meeting at the Historical Center at 602 Story Street, with registration beginning at 9:00 AM and the convention beginning at 9:30 AM. Boone County Republicans will meet Saturday morning at Boone High School, 500 7th Street. The Republicans will gavel in at 10:00 AM.
