BOONE, Iowa---2012 will mark the 59th annual Inter-Church Council of Laypersons Holy Week Services. The 2012 event begins Saturday morning with a breakfast at the First Presbyterian Church. Dan Saftig, known for his work as President of the Iowa State University Foundation will be the featured speaker. Tickets for the breakfast are available at local churches and at the door. The cost is $5. The Inter-Church Council of Laypersons donates proceeds to pre-designated Boone County organizations. The series of services continues April 2nd through April 6th.
