Severe Weather Spotter Training

BOONE, Iowa---The annual Severe Weather Spotter Training for Boone County will be held Thursday evening at the Boone City Hall Auditorium.  Basic spotter training will be presented by Jeff Johnson of the Nation Weather Service office in Johnston and is hosted by Boone County Emergency Management.  Emergency Management Coordinator Dave Morlan says many that do spotting in Boone County will attend, but the class will help anyone interested.  Morlan says when it comes to severe weather, the more eyes on the look out the better.  There's no cost for the training.  Anyone interested should show up at the City Hall Auditorium at 7:00.
