Initial Interviews With Assessor Candidates Complete

BOONE, Iowa---A committee of representatives of the Boone County Assessor's Conference Board has completed interviews with five candidates for the job.  The final interview was completed Monday afternoon.  Boone Mayor John Slight represents Boone County Mayors.  Supervisors Tom Foster represents the Supervisors.  Rob Scott, Southeast Webster Grand School Board Member represented the School Boards.  Slight says the committee had very good candidates.  He says he expects two names to be forwarded to the full Conference Board for consideration.  That next meeting is expected Tuesday, March 27th.
