Conference Board Committee Named

BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Assessor's Conference Board has named a sub-committee to conduct interviews with potential candidates for Boone County Assessor.  The Conference Board met Wednesday and received from the Examining Board a list of five candidates, narrowed down from eight applications.  The intent of the Conference Board is to now narrow down the numbers to the top two candidates and involve the entire Conference Board with interviews.  Committee members meeting with candidates will be Supervisor Tom Foster, Boone Mayor John Slight and Southeast Webster-Grand School Board member Rob Scott.
