BOONE, Iowa---The Boone County Assessor's Conference Board will interview two candidates Tuesday. The two were selected by a Conference Board interview committee and have been recommended for interviews with the full board. Paul Overton is currently the Ames City Chief Deputy Assessor and Drew Sanders is currently the Marion County Assessor. If the Conference Board makes a decision they will also need to include a compensation package. That has already drawn some concern because records indicate that previous Assessor D. Kevin Burggraaf was paid $90,000.
